Health and Human Development

The Oceanside Unified School District (OUSD), is dedicated to ensuring the physical, emotional, and academic health and well-being of all our students.

This spring in accordance with the “California Healthy Youth Act,” we will instruct comprehensive sexual health education and HIV prevention education to students in middle school and high school.

Parents and guardians can preview the written and audiovisual instructional materials.

Should you choose to have your student opted-out of one or more of the lessons, please indicate this choice by completing and returning the Opt-Out Form provided.
