Ceramics Class Descriptions
Ceramics I
Prerequisite: None
Grades 10-12
Ceramics I students will study the elements of art and principles of design and how they relate to sculpture. Student will explore clay by creating a variety of projects with an assortment of finish techniques: paints, stains, and glazes. This one-year course fulfills the A-G Visual Arts requirement.
Ceramics II / III
Prerequisite: Ceramics I
Grades 10-12 or consent of instructor
Ceramics II and III class is an extension of Ceramics I with an in depth course of study for students interested in clay and sculpture. This one-year course fulfills the A-G Visual Arts requirement.
