Life skills is a year long course designed to prepare students with functional academics in the areas of language arts, math, and science, as well as foster independence with daily living skills. Students will participate in real-life lessons that prepare them for community and vocational experiences post-high school. This course aligns with CAPA 1 and 5 standards in the areas of language arts, math, and science, as well as addressing individualized goals based on student needs. Students who participate in this course will receive credit towards a certificate of completion.
